Michael Jacksons Dead?

So there you have it, our once great pop star is now dead. At the very early age of 5o. Listening to the radio this morning I was suprised to hear how everyone was saying how great of a guy he was?!?! I admit that his music was very good and he was a great part in our "musical history"? But you cannot justify this when he was such a sick man! He admitted to having boys sleep with him in his bed! And tells the world that everyone should do it. This is disturbing even if he claims that it was not sexual. Among other things that all suggest that this man was a nut and a creeper.

However I did notice that nobody actually said that they miss hime or that they were sad. Everything considered, yes, he was a great singer, no, he was not a great man.

Goodbye Michael Jackson

I agree. Someone on the radio called Michael Jackson a great "humanitarian." Why, I have no idea, since he molests little kids. I understand he changed the music industry and all, but he was a really weird guy.

I don't think that (child molestation) was ever proven... I just think Michael Jackson had a really bad childhood and did things that a lot of people might frown upon because it sounded bad, but was really nothing bad at all. I'm pretty disapointed about how some people are acting, he's dead now and I think people should respect that. He was a musical genius that wasn't very talented in the social department. That's how I see it. I usually don't like to argue or voice my opinion (if it's the opposite of anothers) about stuff from my blog, but this is definitely an exception.

Btw, that comment was from (me) Briana.

I agree with you completely on this subject. I seriously don't understand why people are like "he was such a great/ fantastic/ amazing guy" since for goodness sack he supposedly molested/ slept with children. If he’s a great man, I'm seriously scared to see what a “bad” one is to the media.

Well to be honest, we don't know him personally so it's not fair to imply who he was as a person. He was definitely a little left of center if you catch my drift but he also experienced a lot of turmoil growing up and I think that people just never truly understood him. His was like a big kid.

And the entire "sharing your bed with a child" thing has been taken so out of context it's ridiculous. Yeah, not the smartest thing for him to say given the situation he was in when he said it but all he implied was that it's alright to share your bed with a child (i.e to sleep beside them etc). I slept beside my parents at times when I was younger. Today everything always has to have such sexual innuendo.

As far as being a humanitarian goes, Jackson did give and represent a lot of charities and organizations so it's not completely unfair to refer to him as one.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that just because he received some bad publicity during his life doesn't make it fair to imply that he was a horrible person based on other's accusations.

Obviously, to each their own. I respect your opinion and I hope you're not offended by my comment, everyone is different as has the right to vocalize what they believe. I just thought I would share my thoughts on the subject. :)

You are probably right maybe Michaeljackson did have a bad childhood. However, even thou no one can officially prove he did not molest children dosn't mean that he didn't. The opposite is true as well. The point was is that he was not a great person, as people on the radio were saying. A 13 year old boy accused him of touching him in wrong places. And as you can see from my post I do agree when saying that he was a "musical genius" his music was wonderful, but that does not make you a good person. I am sorry if this did offend you in any way I was just stating my opinion. :D

He had a difficult personal life, but I think that we should remember the good aspects of Michael Jackson now that he's gone--like the tremendous talent that he had! No one can moonwalk like MJ.
